Farmer Geoff raises his Wagyu cattle for four years on organic pastures and hay, then finishes them during the final 185 days with locally grown barley, corn, and oats. Unlike conventional grain-finishing operations, the cattle are never confined — they continue roaming freely on pasture and can naturally choose between grazing on grass or supplementing with grain.
